A USA based family with a secondary holiday home in St. Tropez, French Riviera France, require the services and appointment of a long-term full time Head Housekeeper to constantly ensure that their upmarket property is prepared for occupation in advance of arrival and maintain the spotless and hygienic environments during their stay.
This is a very hands on role with full responsibility for the cleaning, laundry, room preparation & bathrooms. The home is extensive and additional staffing of the home is scheduled during times that the family are in the home; including two additional housekeepers, a private chef and butler.
Previous experience in private residences is of high importance and calibre. Standard is of great relevance to this bespoke client who requires full attention to detail and most importantly an aptitude for luxury environments and their requirements.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- A daily schedule and record of duties.
- Laundry and ironing including linen, table cloths and napkins and hand-washing, delicate and special care taken of fine linens
- High end-end household appliances cleaning & hygiene
- Delicate furnishings, antiques and special services
- Preparation for functions/receptions and special occasions as well as service during events and functions
- Team work is of great importance as management and third party suppliers have hands on roles and are in place
- Reporting to the Principal’s chosen representative and management team on expenses, scheduling and staff needs
- Working with home automation and high end electronics
- Scheduling and assistance to additional staffing during principals visits to the property
- Record and regular checks on exterior and gardening requirements
- The cleaning routine to be followed meticulously and a weekly reports to be submitted to management,
- Ability to prepare and do basic errands that need to be done when required
- Management of the household inventory and inventory list
- Cleaning equipment to be services and maintained regularly
- Working with the chef on requirements to be purchased and stocked before arrival
Profile requirement
- English written and verbal command communication must be fluent
- A need for previous experience in private residences, luxury boutique environments and establishments
- Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time
- Schedule that if flexible and can include public holidays and weekends throughout the year to accommodate the Principle a/o guests – not frequently
- Contactable references in writing confirming abilities in similar roles Work needs to be carried out according to schedule and organized
- Native Spanish and English as a secondary language
- Validity to drive
- Validity to travel on domestic flights
- Must have a pro-active mindset and be absolutely Honest and Trustworthy
- Candidate should be eager to be employed on a long-term basis and be committed to the appointment.
- Housekeeping experience of 5 years or more in a similar environment
- Housekeeping qualifications are recommended
- English to be fluent, written and verbal
- Significant experience

Job Condition
- This is a Live-out position and as such Miami based candidates will enjoy priority
- Placement will be full time with a three-month trial period.
- Residential needs will determine the flexibility of the schedule
- Experience and qualifications will determine the salary of a successful candidate
