A Private Hairdressers make use of a variety of techniques to enhance the personal appearance of their clients. They may work in a salon that cater for men, women, or children. Some salons will specialize in a specific style for their clients, for e.g. techniques for African-Caribbean hairdressing techniques such as braiding, pressing and hair extensions.
As a private hairdresser you’ll spend your time greeting clients, discussing styles and treatments, and styling your clients’ hair according to their needs. You’ll be working with clients every day, so a friendly, outgoing personality will be ideal for this job.
