What you should know about Private Chauffeur for a Family
A private chauffeur is responsible for driving their client, the client’s family members and friends to various destinations as requested by the client. Hiring a chauffeur allows the client to maximize their time and not having to focus on the road while being driven to the designated location such as meetings, events, restaurants, work, schools, airports, and boutiques.
Many clients request chauffeurs with strong driving skills, good knowledge of roads in a specific city, experience driving a number of different cars, both manual and automatic and have the ability to drive on the right and left side of the road. It is important that the chauffeur is flexible and does not mind working late hours for the client.

For example, a number of our candidates stem from a military and/or a police background. A crucial requirement for a chauffeur is to have a proper driver’s license and criminal background check.
Duties and responsibilities of a good chauffeur are to ensure that every journey for the client, the family and friends is carried out in a safe and timely manner. Knowledge and planning the best route and duration to arrive at the required destination also known as route planning.
Maintaining the clients’ vehicle by regular cleaning, taking the car to the car wash and performing repairs or taking them to car services/garages. Ensuring the clients’ comfort is met by keeping tissues, water, gum, umbrella, and the daily newspaper in the car. As a chauffeur, one will be running errands for the family and other staff members, for example going grocery shopping, dropping off and picking up laundry from the dry cleaners, going to the local market to buy flowers or ingredients.
They are responsible for all the documents related to the vehicle, tax papers, insurances and toll charges.
