Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Female Butler to join our team, for our client based in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional proficiency in ceremonial protocols, formal dinner service, specialising in high-end formal service and overall household management.
This role requires a professional with outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to upholding the highest standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all formal dining arrangements, ensuring impeccable table settings and service.
- Execute flawless ceremonial and high-end dinner service, including silver service and wine pairing.
- Manage guest interactions with discretion, professionalism, and charm.
- Ensure the smooth execution of formal household ceremonies, adhering to traditional protocols.
- Prepare and guide staff in ceremonial practices and etiquette.
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, providing training in high-end service standards.
- Delegate and oversee daily responsibilities to ensure consistency in quality and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of fine china, silverware, and other formal service ware.
- Collaborate with the household manager to organize events, oversee schedules, and manage budgets.
- Anticipate and accommodate the preferences and needs of the principals and guests.
- Uphold confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Represent the household with dignity and professionalism, fostering a welcoming and sophisticated environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in high-end formal service, including dinner service and ceremonial protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of fine dining etiquette, wine service, and table presentation.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee and train staff effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of discretion, reliability, and integrity.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Formal butler training or certification is highly desirable.
Work conditions
- Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. UAE.
- Live In, staff accommodation.
- Full-time with flexibility, including evenings and weekends as required.
