Domestic Couple Job and Vacancy

A family is looking for an experienced and hardworking Domestic Couple to care of and manage their 4 bedroom house of 300 m2 in Monte Vista (Cape Town), South Africa. The land area is 630 m2.

The family resides in the estate twice a year: in the summer season and in winter (during 2 months). So the couple should be ready to work and live in the house almost all year round on their own.

Requirements

• Experience in private households at least 3 years
• Fluent English
• Driving license cat. B
• Hardworking couple

Duties and responsibilities

• Taking full care of the house
• Managing the estate
• Complete housekeeping (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, scullery, laundry)
• Washing windows, floors and walls
• Cleaning of all the surfaces
• Laundry and ironing
• Light cooking (when the family lives in the house)
• Performing the duties of a Handyman/Handywoman
• Minor works
• Garden, pool and braai room maintenance
• Car maintenance
• Ensuring the proper work of all the communication of the house
• Shopping for groceries and cleaning agents
• Resolving all the technical malfunctions of the house
• Permanent liaising with principals
