Job description
Our esteemed client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Nanny to provide exceptional care for their 3-year-old child and assist with a newborn arriving in March.
The family upholds high standards and values attention to detail, making prior experience in similar roles highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for the 3-year-old and newborn.
- Engage in stimulating activities, including play, reading, and educational experiences.
- Support the 3-year-old with developmental and educational play.Establish and maintain feeding and sleeping routines.
- Foster motor skills development through age-appropriate play and activities.
- Promote early cognitive and language development through interactive sessions.
- Ensure the children’s hygiene through regular bathing and diaper changes.
- Keep the children’s rooms tidy and organised.
- Handle laundry and ironing tasks for the children.
- Perform light housekeeping as needed.
- Assist with preparing simple family meals.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment to promote the children’s growth and well-being.
Requirements
- Have relevant experience and qualifications to support educational play for the 3-year-old.
- A childcare qualification and excellent references required.
- Possess excellent organisational skills to implement effective routines incorporating varied activities.
- Be fluent in English.
- Exhibit a kind, caring, and mature demeanor while serving as a positive role model.
- Be trustworthy, professional, and flexible to adapt to changing family needs.
- Demonstrate outstanding references from previous roles.
Work conditions
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Position Type: Live-In or Live-Out (depending on preference).
- Working Schedule: 6 days per week with 1 flexible day off.
- Salary: Depending on experience.
