Job description
A family of three with a part-time residence in Dubai seeks a reliable, experienced, and hands-on House Manager to oversee the smooth running of their villa in Dubai Hills.
This full-time, longterm position starts in January 2025 and requires someone who can maintain the highest standards of service for clients with high expectations. The role involves supervising household operations, managing a small team of staff, and ensuring the property is always in impeccable condition.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of the household and ensure everything is functioning optimally.
- Prepare the villa for the family’s arrival, ensuring all aspects meet their preferences.
- Greet and assist guests, ensuring a warm and professional experience.
- Act as the primary point of contact for alarms, contractors, and suppliers.
- Manage and coordinate household maintenance and repairs, including light fixes (e.g., changing light bulbs, troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues).
- Ensure timely servicing of systems, including alarms and utilities.
- Supervise and coordinate two domestic helpers, ensuring their tasks are performed efficiently.
- Work closely with external services to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain household inventory and procure supplies as needed.
- Provide flexibility to handle occasional additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar House Manager or related role, for high-net-worth clients.
- Hands-on, reliable, and capable of taking initiative with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Trustworthy and professional, with a focus on discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Solid understanding of household systems and light maintenance tasks.
- A driving license is preferable.
Work conditions
- Start Date: January 2025.
- Schedule: 6 days per week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call flexibility.
- Accommodation: Preferably live-out, but accommodation in staff quarters can be provided for the right candidate.
