Job description
We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and warm-hearted Nanny/Housekeeper (M/F) to join a wonderful family of three based in St John’s Wood, London.
This position involves assisting with the care of a delightful 3-year-old girl who attends nursery, along with providing valuable support with household tasks.
The role offers both live-in and live-out options, allowing flexibility for the ideal candidate. The family seeks a long-term commitment, with a start date scheduled for March-April 2025
Responsibilities
Childcare:
- Pick up the child from nursery and accompany her to activities.
- Engage the child in activities and play that stimulate her development and learning.
- Prepare nutritious and balanced meals for the child.
- Babysit as needed (with advance notice).
- Ensure that the girl’s toys are clean and organised.
- Manage the child’s laundry and wardrobe, keeping items clean and well-organised.
Housekeeping Support:
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dishwashing, and dusting.
- Assist with grocery shopping and other household supplies as needed.
- Help with meal preparation for the parents when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience caring for children around the age of 3, with experience caring for babies also ideal (for the family’s future planning).
- A positive, flexible attitude and openness to feedback.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent English is essential; knowledge of Italian would be a plus.
- A long-term commitment, as the family seeks stability.
Work conditions
- Live-Out Option: Approximately 10 am to 7 pm, 5-6 days a week (to be discussed), with occasional babysitting arranged in advance.
- Live-In Option: Exact hours to be discussed, aligning with family needs, 5-6 days per week (to be discussed).
- Contract: Permanent, full-time Start Date: March-April 2025
- Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
