Job description
We are looking for an experienced couple to manage the maintenance and security of a 8 bedrooms castle located near Bordeaux (33) in France.
The candidates will be responsible for maintaining the secondary residence to ensure that the owners, their family, and guests are welcomed in the best possible way during each of their occasional stays.
The position is located near Bordeaux in France (33).
This is a full-time, permanent position with accommodation, starting as soon as possible.
Profile with children and pets are welcome. We are looking for an english speaking couple.
Responsibilities
- Management and security of the estate.
- Managing contractors.
- Booking of external guests (As the property will be for rent for short stays from time to time).
- Welcoming guests.
- Housekeeping (Floors, windows, dusting, etc…).
- Laundry : cleaning, drying and ironing family clothes.
- Grocery shopping.
- Preparing breakfast.
- Light cooking for the owners.
- Gardening (mowing, trimming, weeding).
- Maintenance of the swimming pool.
- Maintenance and upkeep of gardening tools.
- Minor handyman tasks.
- General administrative tasks.
- Working with internal and external finance team on related financial matters.
- Be present during events.
Requirements
- M/F
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A serious, professional, and discreet couple.
- A couple with integrity and total trustworthiness.
- A couple looking for long-term commitment.
- Warm and smiling people.
- Proven gardening skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and practical know-how.
- Proactive and autonomous personality.
- Must speak English Intermediate / Advanced level.
- Valid driver's license is required.
Work conditions
- Job Title: Guardians Couple.
- Position to be filled: As soon as possible.
- Location: Bordeaux (33), France.
- Employment Contract: Permanent (CDI): Full-time for the first employee + Part-time (80%) for the second employee.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with availability required on weekends when the owners are present.
- Accommodation: Independent 3 bedrooms fully furnished 120 m2 house on the property.
- Salary for the couple: €4,200 net per month.
