Job description
We are looking for several experienced Housekeepers (M/F) for a prestigious private estate offering high-level services to its residents and guests. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in an exclusive environment, catering to a high-end international clientele.
The position is available immediately and is located in Mougins (06). This is a full-time permanent position (CDI), non-accommodated. Professional-level English is required, as well as intermediate-level French.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of private areas (bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, etc.), ensuring they are in perfect condition of cleanliness and presentation.
- Checking equipment and restocking hospitality products, toiletries, and other necessary supplies.
- Coordinating with other staff members to ensure smooth and high-quality service to clients.
- Receiving personalized instructions from the owners and/or estate managers regarding specific cleaning, room arrangement, or organization needs.
- Preparing rooms before guest arrivals: checking details (scented ambiance, fresh flowers, specific adjustments).
- Occasional room service, including delivering snacks or drinks to rooms.
- Maintaining work equipment (vacuum cleaners, service carts, cleaning products) in good condition and reporting supply needs.
- Assisting during private events or receptions held on the estate, ensuring everything is in order before, during, and after the event.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a luxury hotel or palace (required).
- Advanced English level, with the ability to communicate effectively with an international clientele.
- Discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility, thoroughness, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of service standards in prestigious environments is a major asset.
- Team spirit.
- English (spoken and written) is essential, with French skills highly desirable.
Work conditions
- Job title: Housekeeper (M/F).
- Start date: As soon as possible.
- Workplace: Mougins (06).
- Contract: Full-time permanent (CDI), 35 hours per week, annualized.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, flexibility required for weekends during peak season.
- Net salary (Before Income Tax): Starting from €2,100 net per month + 13th-month bonus + 90% employer-covered health insurance + Career growth opportunities.
