Job description
Private family in LA is seeking an experienced, loving, and reliable nanny (M/F) to care for a 4-month-old baby girl. The ideal candidate (M/F) will be responsible for providing attentive and nurturing care, ensuring the baby’s safety, well-being, and development, and creating a stimulating, positive environment. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility and commitment. Some light housekeeping to maintain a clean, tidy and organized home is required.
This is a full-time position that requires a proactive, reliable, and caring individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, maintain schedule of children’s activities, assist with babysitting, keep house in order. This is a full time, long-term position with some travel to Europe - US Passport will be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, high-quality care for a 4-month-old infant.
- Follow the baby's established feeding, sleeping, and activity schedule.
- Prepare and feed bottles, ensuring proper sanitation and cleaning.
- Change diapers and clothing as necessary.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities that support development (tummy time, sensory activities, reading, etc.).
- Monitor and document feeding, sleeping patterns, and milestones.
- Always ensure baby’s safety.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a consistent sleep routine.
- Clean and maintain baby’s play area, toys, and equipment.
- Maintain open communication with parents about the baby’s progress and daily activities.
- Light household duties related to the baby (e.g., laundry, tidying up baby’s room).
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience caring for infants.
- CPR and First Aid certification (infant-specific training preferred).
- A calm, patient, and loving demeanor.
- Experience in newborn and infant care, including feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel with the family domestic & international.
Work conditions
- Full-time position, long term position.
- Live-in arrangement in Baby’s room or own private bedroom accommodations.
- Title of the position: Nanny (M/F).
- Position to be filled: ASAP.
- Workplace: Los Angeles, CA.
- Employment contract: Permanent, Long-term.
- Flexible/open working hours, to be discussed individually.
- $50000 - $55000, depends on experience.
