Job description
Our client in Dorado, Puerto Rico is seeking a dedicated, experienced, reliable, nurturing, and caring individual to join family as a live-in Nanny-full time and homeschool teacher (M/F) for two boys, aged 4 and 1.
The ideal candidate (M/F) will have a genuine love, support and nurturing for children, be proactive in planning, mentoring and engaging in educational and recreational activities, and support the children's overall well-being and development.
As a homeschool teacher, you will be responsible for creating a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters the children’s cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Your primary focus will be on play-based learning, hands-on activities, and encouraging creativity and exploration. This position also requires exciting travel destinations to Europe during the spring and summer, as well as a few other trips throughout the year.
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. (Saturday and Sunday Off). The position is LIVE IN and housing will be provided off-property, 10 minutes away from the residence. Family will provide own car.
Responsibilities
- Care for two boys, keep them safe, feed them healthy food, make sure they are feeling loved.
- Make home Zen – help keep it peaceful, calm and hotel-level clean and organized.
- Cook healthy meals for the family when the boys are sleeping.
- Help with travel, take lead on packing and caring for children when family travels together.
- Encourage children to reach educational milestones.
- Plan to engage educational activities.
- Comfortable working independently with both parents working from home.
- Encourage children to participate in outdoor activities.
- Limit screen time to a minimum.
- Fluent in English, French or Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience traveling with families is a bonus.
- Energetic, proactive, flexible, and self-motivated candidates preferred.
- Long-term commitment to grow with the family and children.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a nanny, teacher and housekeeper duties is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Genuine love, nurturing for children and a patient demeanor.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Heavy travel - all expenses covered while traveling - US Passport required.October to April in Puerto Rico with some traveling to NY, Hawaii and Utah.
April – June in Portugal / June-October in France.
- US Driver’s License required; family will provide own car.
- Driving children to and from school and after school activities.
- Able to swim.
Work conditions
- Live-in, long term, permanent position
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm (Saturday & Sundays Off).
- Family will offer furnished housing, a car, health insurance and10 days of PTO.

Salary range $90k - $100k
