Job description
We are looking for a Senior Property Manager to manage all aspects of a small property of our client in Dubai.
The successful candidate requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks related to property management. Additionally, the candidate is required to privately work on focused, desk-based tasks when not undertaking property-related responsibilities.
This is a full time and permanent role – to be filled as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Regularly inspecting properties, snagging, practical problem-solving, organizing and supervising contractors.
- Forward-planning for maintenance requirements and projects.
- Day-to-day property administration including managing relationships and accounts (service providers, utilities).
- Administrative duties to assist with a property acquisition, sale or rental. This may include paperwork, negotiations, acting as point of contact for tenants/ agents or providing access to the property.
- Researching, sourcing, recommending products or service-providers and being accountable for ensuring smooth delivery and resolving any issues.
- Calendar management to ensure co-ordination with colleagues for property-related scheduling requirements.
- Accountable for all property-related invoices, payments and reconciling bank statements.
- Excellent general administration skills, keeping well-organized records and documents.
- Being pro-active in meeting deadlines and proactively completing tasks efficiently.
- Highly responsive with strong verbal and written communication skills. Daily plans and Weekly updates submitted consistently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to provide technical support, independently troubleshooting property-related or computer-based issues as they arise.
Requirements
- A university degree with an accountancy background.
- Similar property experience of at least 5 years.
- A clean UAE driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- Must have their own home office for private work.
- Excellent level of verbal and written English with outstanding accuracy in written work.
