Job description
We are looking for a highly experienced Butler (M/F) who will ensure impeccable service and the perfect upkeep of our UHNW clients' property to very high standards.
The ideal candidate (M/F) will be meticulous and enjoy working as part of a team in a high-expectation environment. The Butler will organize and perform the flawless maintenance of the living spaces, working alongside a Housekeeper.
This is a permanent position, available as soon as possible. The role is based in Lugano, Switzerland. Accommodation is provided for a single person without pets.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level service to the employers by responding to their needs and anticipating their requests to ensure their 2000m² property is always perfectly maintained.
- Organize work schedules.
- Serve meals, drinks, or cocktails with elegance and professionalism.
- Ensure cleanliness of common areas and bedrooms.
- Work as a team and communicate with staff members to ensure consistent service.
- Provide formal or informal yet elegant table service.
- Prepare rooms, beds, and linens in coordination with the housekeeper.
- Pack and unpack luggage.
- Set tables to formal or semi-formal standards as needed.
- Maintain and manage silverware, glassware, tableware, pantry, wine cellar, and bar.
- Be responsible for welcoming guests.
Requirements
- (M/F) with 3 to 5 years of minimum experience in a similar role in high-end private homes or luxury hospitality, ensuring impeccable results.
- Trustworthy and able to ensure complete discretion for the employer.
- Autonomous, reliable, and able to organize daily tasks efficiently.
- Flexible and adaptable to the employers’ potential unforeseen needs.
- Warm, calm, pragmatic individual.
- Attention to detail and a taste for high-quality work.
- Italian and English speaker is a plus.
- Driving license (B) needed.
Work conditions
- Job Title: Butler.
- Position Available: As soon as possible.
- Location: Lugano (Switzerland).
- Employment Contract: Permanent - Morning and evening shifts (afternoon break).
- Work Hours: Full-time - Days off: Sunday + 1/2 day.
- Net Monthly Salary: 6000 euros per month, depending on profile.
- Accommodation: Provided in a nearby independent studio.
