Job description

We are seeking an experienced Private Chef (M/F) to join our VIP client in his Sierra Leone (West Africa) home. Position to be filled ASAP. Long term contract - Full time. Live-in role.

Provide variety of cuisines (local, international, dietary) that promotes a healthy lifestyle.

The ideal candidate (M/F) is friendly and passionate about creating nutritious and delicious meals.

Responsibilities

Menu Planning.
Design and prepare meals.
Execute high-quality dishes with an emphasis on presentation, flavor, and nutritional balance.
Table setting, table service.
Prepare and serve meals for dinner parties and special events (upon request).
Engage with employers in a friendly and professional manner, tailoring meals to their dietary preferences and requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment related to food safety and sanitary standards.
Food purchasing management and reporting to the owners.
Inventory management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a chef, with a strong background in variety cuisine and healthy dietary practices.
Flexibility required to work including evenings and weekends for special events.
Passion for creating innovative and health-conscious dishes.
Good communication.
High standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
Organizational skills.
Trust and discretion.
Driving license.
English speaking is a plus.

Work conditions

Work place : Freetown (Sierra Leone - West Africa).
Starting date : ASAP.
Type of contract : Permanent - full time.
Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Live-in.

Salary

6000 - 7000 USD/net/month (according on profile).
