Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Private Chef for our client in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
The successful candidate needs to have extensive expertise in international cuisine. This role involves preparing a variety of international dishes and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for the household with consideration of their preferences.
This is a full time and permanent role – to be filled as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare diverse menus featuring a wide range of international cuisines (Italian, French, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American dishes etc.)
- Customize meal plans based on preferences, and specific requests from clients.
- Prepare and cook meals for daily dining, special occasions, and events as needed.
- Maintain an inventory of pantry items and ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Ensure meals are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Oversee all kitchen operations including cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Adjust meal plans and recipes based on client feedback and preferences.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper disposal of waste.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a professional chef with a focus on international cuisine for private VIP families or luxury hotel and restaurants.
- Culinary degree or equivalent formal training preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of various international cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditions.
- Strong creativity and ability to develop unique and flavorful dishes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
