We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Travelling Chef to join our team in Gibraltar.
Our mission is to provide exceptional Mediterranean-inspired cuisine that promotes a healthy lifestyle. Our ideal candidate is young, friendly, and passionate about creating nutritious and delicious meals.
This role requires a chef who can thrive in a dynamic environment and work seamlessly alongside another chef on a rota basis.
Menu Planning and Preparation:
Design and prepare meals that adhere to Mediterranean and macro diet principles.
Cooking and Presentation:
Execute high-quality dishes with an emphasis on presentation, flavour, and nutritional balance.
Collaboration:
Work alongside another chef in a rotating schedule to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Dinner Parties:
Occasionally prepare and serve meals for dinner parties and special events.
Travel:
Travel to various locations as required, ensuring consistency in culinary standards across different settings.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, tailoring meals to their dietary preferences and requirements.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Proven experience as a chef, with a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine and healthy dietary practices.
Expertise in creating meals that align with macro diet principles.
Ability to adapt to different kitchen environments and travel frequently.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with another chef.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends for special events.
Passion for creating innovative and health-conscious dishes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
