Client in Lac Brome, Canada seeks a professional housekeeper couple to maintain a private household to the highest standard. The successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of household tasks, ensuring the residence is always clean, organized, and welcoming.
This role requires a couple who can work seamlessly together to manage household duties efficiently and effectively.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Perform daily, weekly, and deep cleaning of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces and floors.
Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate fabrics and proper storage of clothing.
Organization:
Maintain an organized and tidy home, including managing closets, pantries, and storage areas.
Monitor and manage household supplies and inventories, replenishing as necessary.
Cooking and Meal Preparation:
Prepare meals according to dietary preferences and needs, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
Plan menus and shop for groceries as needed.
Assist with special dietary requirements or preferences as needed.
General Household Management:
Perform light maintenance and small repairs or oversee contractors for larger projects.
Handle mail and deliveries also, allow contractors in the premise.
Garden and Outdoor Maintenance:
Basic gardening and outdoor upkeep.
Maintain outdoor furniture and spaces.
Make sure pool is clean and working properly.
Car collection in garage is tidy, cars washed and maintained clean.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as a couple.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to cook and prepare meals as needed
Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
Valid driver’s licenses (preferred).
Accommodation: The successful couple will have full use of the lodge positioned at the main entrance of the estate. It is a large lodge (1,600 sq. ft) that has been recently renovated and, while very much part of the estate, is a house of merit in its own right. All service costs are included.
Schedule: 5 days per week 8 hours a day; some flexibility is required.
Start: As soon as possible.
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Working Hours:
Flexibility is required, and Christmas holiday will be needed.
