Job description
Our client, who resides in a beautiful house in South Beach, Miami, Florida, United States of America, is seeking an experienced Housekeeper (M/F) for their household.
While the family includes grown-up children who visit occasionally, the primary focus of the role will be on the two Principals.
The ideal candidate will be sensible, healthy, trustworthy, and dependable, with a desire for longevity in their role.
Flexibility with duties and previous experience in a high-profile private household are essential.
Given the formal nature of the house, maintaining high standards of cleaning and presentation is imperative.
As the family owns other properties and frequently travels, the housekeeper will need to accompany them to their house in Aspen for two weeks every other Christmas and every other August to mid-September.
Working alongside a Property Manager and three other housekeepers, the Principals seek an individual who is a team player and can collaborate harmoniously with other staff members.
Direct communication with both the Property Manager and Personal Assistant will be necessary, so proficiency in English and basic IT skills (emails/texts) are required. A uniform will be provided for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
Cleaning to very high standards (fine antiques, porcelain, wooden floors).
Laundry with knowledge of care for delicate items.
Managing dry cleaning.
Ironing.
Changing beds.
Running errands if necessary.
Helping with packing and unpacking.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will be reliable, proactive and be flexible with the rota provided.
Proven experience in a similar role.
Precise with great attention to details.
Result oriented.
Well present.
Knowledge of table service.
Covid vaccinated and willing to have flu shots yearly.
Work conditions
Start: ASAP
Salary
$70,000 – $80,000 per year.
