Head of House The head of House will manage the housekeeping team and undertake the day-to-day duties. Supervise and manage a team of five housekeepers, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of the property. Ensure high standards are met and maintained consistently. Develop and implement cleaning and maintenance schedules for the property. Ensure all areas of the home are clean, organised, and well-maintained, including managing inventory supplies. Work together with the chef, to ensure guests' preferences are met. In the event of few guests, must be able to take over the service. Concierge (guest’s appointments, restaurants reservations, etc). Work with Principal to ensure everything runs smoothly. Be her P.A with online shopping, etc. Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of all household tasks. Engineering/Handyman: Oversee and enhance our local network infrastructure, including fibre optics and Cat cables, ensuring security and efficiency in communication channels. Masterfully splice fibre optics, identify and fix faults, and expand the network as needed, establishing new VLANs and troubleshooting device issues. Operate and maintain reverse osmosis water treatment plants. Repair and manage hydraulic systems, including PVC repairs and pool control and filtration systems. Execute low to mid-voltage electrical tasks, install new panels, troubleshoot problems, with comprehensive knowledge of the U.S. electrical code. Engage with electromechanical devices such as soft starters and VFDs. Diagnose, repair, and maintain both land and marine engines, applying expert mechanical knowledge to ensure peak performance and longevity. Adapt to and thrive in environments that are often humid and warm, maintaining high levels of energy and resilience.​
