Bodyguard Job and Vacancy

​A HNW businessman residing in Pretoria, in South Africa is looking for a private Bodyguard for his wife and daughter. The candidate should be polite, friendly and have good communication skills to join a small private security team.

This is a live out position. Start – May, 2016.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Close Protection Officer for a private family
• Experience in security of children
• Close protection trainings, certificates
• Military or police training would be a plus
• CPO license
• First Aid Certificate
• Clean criminal records
• Fluent English
• Driving license would be a plus
• Excellent physical health
• Good communication skills
• Polite
• Friendly
• Flexible
• Calm
• Committed and loyal
• Responsible
• Preferably non-smoker and without bad habits

Duties and responsibilities

• Keeping the client’s wife and daughter safe and happy
• Escorting the client’s wife to dinners, meetings, shopping and other events
• Accompanying the child to school/extracurricular activities and back home
• Remaining in close contact with other security members, sharing information in any situation
• Providing an effective security to client's wife and his daughter
• Extensive planning and knowledge of the client's movements
• Travelling with the family when necessary
• Escorting the principal and his family to the airport with other close protection officers
• Assisting the chauffeur in carrying packages and luggage

Schedule
Flexible schedule, from 9am to 6pm or longer (when needed)
From Monday to Friday, occasionally part-time on weekends

Salary
High salary/depending on the experience and skills of the candidate
