Job description
We are looking a retired or semi-retired couple to serve as guardian couple for our client's secondary residence located in Arcangues (Basque Country/Pyrénées Atlantiques), responsible for the proper maintenance of the interior and exterior of the homes as well as the security of the site.
The position is available immediately
This is a permanent part-time basis with accommodation provided
Responsibilities
Perform or assist in performing household chores.
Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies.
Handle laundry duties (washing, ironing, and tidying).
Carry out food shopping and other supplies as requested.
Provide kitchen assistance when the family is in residence.
Assist the employer's father during his stays at the property (services, shopping, requests, etc.).
Report technical problems or malfunctions related to the property.
Conduct minor repair works.
Provide occasional garden maintenance in support of the gardeners.
Monitor the property.
Maintain the terrace and garden furniture.
Welcome external service providers and oversee their work.
Maintain vehicles (interior and exterior) and monitor maintenance records.
Serve as a driver for the family and/or guests (train station/airport transfers).
Report to the owner.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Independent and serious individuals.
Versatile and trustworthy persons.
Commitment to maintaining the family's confidentiality.
Fluent in French.
A driving license is required for the couple.
Work conditions
Start date: As soon as possible.
Workplace: Arcangues (Basque Country).
Type of contract: Permanent (CDI).
Working conditions: 25 hours per week for the couple.
Accommodation: An independent house is provided.
Trial period: 1 month.
