Job description

Our client is in search of an experienced live-in Couple to manage their 400 m2 house and grounds in the beautiful region of Bonn, in Germany.

The successful candidates will be responsible for running the daily operations of the residence and ensuring that the household runs smoothly.

The couple will be in charge while the House Manager will be away. Management skills is preferable.
Staff on site : 2 gardeners, 1 factotum, 2 housekeepers and the house Manager.

Responsibilities

Factotum
Handling small maintenance jobs and coordinating with local tradesmen
Ensuring security
Manage swimming pool, spa and gardens
Looking for fire places
Windows cleaning
Cars maintenance and cleaning
Gardening tools maintenance
Looking after 1 dog and 3 donkeys

Housekeeper/Cook
Competent in housekeeping, shopping, and laundry duties
Proficient in-home cooking
Ensuring the overall security of the household
Setting tables and clearing/ washing up etc

Requirements

Previous experience in similar domestic roles
Totally fluent in English, speaking German would be a plus
Energetic and "hands-on" approach
Maintaining a high level of confidentiality
Discreet and calm personality
Strong team spirit
Able to manage budgets
Management skills
Animals lovers
Full driver's licence
Checkable references from previous employers

Work conditions

Job Title: Domestic couple
Position available: As soon as possible
Employment Contract: Permanent German contract
Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, working 2 weekends a month, 2 days off per week
Accommodation : 200 m2 independent 2 bedrooms cottage on the property

Salary

Salary: 5 600 € nets per month for the couple + Bonus + 30 days of paid holidays
