Job description
For our clients, we are looking for a Head Housekeeper who will be responsible for the upkeep of their properties: main residence, outbuildings located on large wooded grounds, as well as one or two rental properties.
The main residence is occupied all year round by the family.
The person we're looking for, who is willing to make a long-term commitment, will provide reliable support for the family.
The position is based in Biarritz (64) and is available on a permanent basis from March/April 2024.
Responsibilities
On a permanent basis: maintain the interior of the property (450m2) and outbuildings (70m2 personal office).
If necessary: also occasionally maintain a 120m2 guest house and 2 "cabanes" (depending on occupancy and on the same estate).
Punctually : To be able to carry out exit maintenance on a 120m2 apartment and a rented house (10 to 15 times/year) in the surrounding area.
Complete house cleaning, including all household chores
Maintenance of furniture, glass surfaces, decorative objects, etc.
Laundry care (washing, careful ironing, precise and organized storage in dressing rooms)
Occasional preparation of meals for the family (mainly breakfasts)
Help in the kitchen for dinners at receptions (family-style, well-balanced cuisine)
Take charge of food shopping and additional errands
Regular reporting to employer
Requirements
Person (M/F) with at least 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position
Pleasant, warm-hearted person,
Calm and caring
Integrity, discretion, reliability, responsibility and trustworthiness
Detail-oriented and meticulous
Good elocution and presentation skills
Driving license required
Speak French.
