Job description
Our clients are seeking a polyvalent and experienced Housekeeper responsible for maintaining their 500 m2 apartment, a secondary residence occupied occasionally throughout the year.
The candidate will provide reliable daily assistance by handling all household tasks. When the employer is present, additional staff will complement and strengthen the team to ensure impeccable service to the family.
The position is based in Paris in the 16th arrondissement.
This is a permanent position to be filled by the end of January/beginning of February 2024.
Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining the impeccable condition of the 500 m2 apartment (secondary residence) by performing complete household tasks (vacuuming, dusting, maintenance of floors - marble, tiles, carpet - and glass surfaces, as well as artwork).
Keep the residence clean and tidy, immediately operational in case of the owners arrival (additional staff will also reinforce the team during stays).
Management of household and family laundry (washing, careful ironing, and storage).
Pack and unpack luggage carefully, check if clothes need ironing.
Tidying and organizing dressing rooms.
Ability to prepare simple supplementary meals (simple, varied, and balanced family cooking based on seasonal products), and primarily breakfast.
Conduct basic or supplementary food shopping from local merchants in case of the occupants arrival and stay (florist, pharmacy, dry cleaning).
Welcome potential external service providers, receive mail and packages.
Requirements
Male/Female, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in a private family, bourgeois house or luxury hospitality.
Warm, humble, human, and passionate about the profession and its practice in a family atmosphere.
A person of complete trust, integrity, discretion and good manners.
High attention to detail and meticulous work.
Dynamic, proactive, autonomous, able to organize work.
Demonstrate flexibility and availability.
Ability to prepare simple, varied, and balanced family cooking.
Good elocution and presentation.
Ability to use communication tools (computer) and applications such as WhatsApp and email to communicate effectively with the employer from a distance.
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with the owner.
