Job description

We are looking for a Head Housekeeper for one of our clients, capable of maintaining an impeccable state of their residence located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the general upkeep of the house. They will also be in charge of maintaining the medical office of the lady of the house located on the property, as well as an apartment located 7 km away from the client's home. The ideal candidate must have significant experience, be meticulous, applied, discreet, and autonomous. They will know how to rigorously supervise the maintenance of the premises. This is a permanent contract to be filled immediately, with the possibility of being housed with their spouse.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the complete and meticulous upkeep of all the rooms in the house. Ensure the good condition of the lady's medical office (on the property). Weekly maintenance of an apartment located 7 km away. Responsible for the meticulous management of laundry and dressings: washing, folding, ironing, and systematic storage of dressings. Careful maintenance of floors, furniture, and decorative objects. Attentive cleaning of noble materials. Shopping for groceries and cleaning products. Occasional services (dry cleaning, parcels...). Preparation of balanced meals for the family. Management and follow-up of external service providers. Ensure the surveillance of the property. Walks (5 times a week) with a Labrador dog. Occasional care of the dog on some weekends.

Requirements

M/F, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar function and within a high-end environment. Swiss work permit required. Cooking skills (family cooking; balanced). A rigorous, meticulous, and efficient person, demonstrating a desire to do well. Possessing great discretion, total trust, integrity, and punctuality. A person with values, demonstrating good manners and behavior. Organized and autonomous, capable of flexibility. Driving license B required. Must speak French.
