House Manager

Hygiene check is top priority. Making sure the staff are tidy and clean. Making sure the house is always tidy including the dining table, majlis coffee table, indoor kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, plants indoors and outdoors being taken care of. Managing the menu with the chef and ensuring that clear communication is there with the chef regarding likes and dislikes for both our menu and children's menu. Ensuring the table is always ready for breakfast lunch and dinner. It is necessary for breakfast to have the house manager choose a good bakery to deliver fresh pastries and to have staff at home prepare different juices, cheeses, breads, and honey to be ready daily for breakfast. Lunch and dinner will be managed by the chef, but table preparation is the duty of the house manager. Ensuring the boys’ nannies are always prepared for the daily schedule of the boys and always being aware of the boys’ activities and appointments. Getting the house ready for guests. Refreshing plants and flowers when needed. Keeping note of employers likes and dislikes in terms of snacks, sweets, tea, coffee, newspapers and making sure they are always accessible. Overseeing the house weekly grocery list to make sure nothing ever runs out. Picking up shopping and making errands for employer. Ensuring cars are always tidy, clean, and ready for the day. In charge of full communication with all staff and report back to employer- the sole middleman. Making sure employers work attire and formal attire is always ready and well taken care of. Keeping check of any maintenance needs of the house and making sure they have been taken care of. Attention to detail and initiative is necessary.
