Job description
We are looking for an experienced and caring caregiver/nurse for our 55-year-old client diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, to join a team in providing care to the employer.
The candidate will be responsible for assisting our client with personal care and various daily medical needs.
This individual will assume a supportive role and work collaboratively with the family, caregivers, and nurses already present.
The position is a permanent full-time role to be filled no later than the end of November 2023.
Location: Neuilly sur Seine (92)
Responsibilities
Assist the employer from waking to bedtime and in all daily activities.
Ensure continuous well-being and flawless care.
Accompany Madame during outings.
Perform hygiene and grooming tasks.
Ensure Madame's well-being and adherence to hygiene protocols.
Accompany to medical appointments and provide updates to the family through medical reports (administrative tasks, documentation, letters, etc.).
Identify potential risks and apply first aid procedures when necessary.
Act as an interface with the family.
Regular follow-ups, reporting, and daily communication with the family.
Minimal and occasional housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying the room) if required.
Occasionally assist Madame's independent older children if needed.
Requirements
Solid individual (M/F) with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
First Aid and Nurse's Aide or AES training is a plus.
Knowledge, experience, or training in multiple sclerosis is highly desired.
Flexible, calm, and composed person.
Warm, empathetic individual eager to work in a family-oriented environment.
Integrity, discretion, responsibility, and complete trustworthiness.
Ability to take initiative and possess anticipatory skills.
Work conditions
Job Title: Caregiver/Nurse
Available Position: No later than the end of November 2023
Work Location: Neuilly s/Seine (92)
Employment Contract: Permanent Full-Time (CDI – Temps plein)
Proposed Schedule to be confirmed: Approximately 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday
Flexibility to work one weekend every 4 weeks
