Job description
As a Private Chef Cook, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen, responsible for crafting and presenting delectable dishes that showcase our commitment to culinary artistry. Your creativity and culinary expertise will be instrumental in delighting our guests and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
Develop and refine recipes, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and adherence to food safety standards.
Plan menus and create innovative dishes that cater to our clientele's preferences.
Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain freshness and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following strict hygiene standards.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop and update menus.
Monitor food costs and work to optimize kitchen efficiency.
Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into the menu.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in a fine dining restaurant or upscale establishment.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
Strong passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
Exceptional cooking skills and knowledge of various cuisines.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Valid UAE work permit (if applicable).
Work conditions
Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
