Job description
Our repeat client is in search of a hard-working, self-motivated Housekeeper (cleaning specialist) with a calm demeanor and keen attention to detail for their lavish UHNW family estate nestled in the picturesque Lagos, Portugal.
As a Housekeeper at this prestigious estate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and impeccable condition of the residence. Your meticulous approach, organizational skills, and ability to proactively resolve issues will be invaluable in maintaining the household to the highest standards.
This is a permanent full-time position starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Perform morning housecleaning tasks to maintain the residence's pristine condition.
Execute laundry duties, including proper garment maintenance and management of items in need of dry cleaning.
Organize and manage wardrobes, drawers, shoes, and other personal items.
Conduct window washing to ensure a clear and beautiful view.
Complete vacuuming, dusting, and other cleaning tasks to maintain a spotless environment.
Requirements
Eligible to work and reside in Portugal or the EU.
Proficiency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
Previous experience in HNW households is necessary.
Excellent references from former employers.
Attention to detail.
Discreet personality.
Ability to work in a team with other staff (house manager, PA, handyperson, chefs, nannies, etc)
Work conditions
Working days: 5 days on, 2 days off per week.
Flexibility required when the family is in residence (approximately 50% of the time).
Significant downtime when the family is away traveling.
Accommodation provided in a shared staff apartment (with a separate bedroom and bathroom).
Meals provided while on duty.
1 month paid vacation
