Job description
An English-speaking family, also speaking Italian and Ukrainian, living in Dubai and having two children, is looking for a House Manager who will take care of their home as well as looking after them.
The candidate will provide reliable support to the family on a daily basis by making sure their home is perfectly maintained and their needs answered. The candidate will supervise and manage a team already in place.
There is a travelling nanny who is looking after the children.
This is a Live-Out position located in Dubai, UAE, and a permanent role to be filled as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the property and cleaning as needed
Supervising the maids, driver and the nanny as well as any other house staff, as requested by the family
Organizing the work and schedule of the team for an efficient result
Making sure all house procedures are put in place and duly implemented by all house staff
Helping with taking care of the kids as needed
Running all errands, grocery shopping and on-demand queries needed
Cooking for the family as much as requested by the family
Laundry and ironing management
Organizing and maintaining the dressing room
Being responsible for a high level of housekeeping in the Dubai property and when travelling in any accommodation the family might be staying abroad when travelling, including running errands and grocery shopping, packing and unpacking
Following the principals’ schedule
Training the staff
Leading by example to encourage the team to preserve the family's privacy (lunch and breaks to happen outside the family's house)
Requirements
M/F with at least 3-5 years experience in a similar role in a private household
Being a strong team player and demonstrating a positive energy and attitude
Enjoy travelling and all the flexibility involved
Mature, Calm and discreet person
Honest, discreet, responsible and totally trustworthy
Warm, friendly and dynamic person
Fluent in English, Speaking Italian is a plus
Valid and up-to-date passport required
Non smoker

Position: House Manager
Start date: As soon as possible
Workplace: Dubai, UAE
Employment contract: Permanent - Full time - Local contract - Position is Live out
5,5 days/week (depending on the family's needs) - 50hrs / week
25 days holidays per year
Visa and Medical insurance costs covered by the employer
Economy flight ticket back home after one year of service
Accommodation and groceries provided during travel
