Job description
We are currently seeking a Private Chef in Paris, specifically in the 16th arrondissement, to cook for a family consisting of 2 adults during the week and 2 adolescents on weekends. The role requires expertise in both French and international cuisines, as well as informal table service.
The position will be available from early November 2023 and offers full-time employment with a permanent contract (CDI).
Responsibilities
Prepare lunches for Madame only and dinners for 2 people during the weekdays.
Cook for 4 people on Friday and Sunday evenings.
Create menus.
Prepare dinners with appetizers, main courses, and desserts (simple desserts, fruits, etc.).
Demonstrate the ability to create high-quality, elaborately crafted dishes using healthy, diverse, and balanced ingredients.
Be capable of cooking more sophisticated dishes for occasional dinners organized by Monsieur and Madame.
Handle small, occasional Saturday evening events (once a month) for a maximum of 8 people.
Set up and clear the table, as well as clean up afterward.
Serve meals during family-organized dinners and in the evenings.
Carry out food shopping.
Maintain and clean the kitchen area and all household appliances daily.
Requirements
Male/Female candidate.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Ability to prepare delicious and balanced dishes (fish, seafood, organic vegetables).
Energetic and dynamic personality.
Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality.
Cheerful and friendly temperament.
Flexibility in work schedule.
Familiarity with HACCP standards.
Fondness for animals (the family has 2 dogs and a cat).
Work conditions
Position available: Early November 2023.
Location: 16th arrondissement, Paris.
Employment contract: Permanent (CDI), 42 hours per week.
Working hours: From Sunday evening to Friday evening, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
