Job description
Our client is looking for a Head Housekeeper for their houses in Sweden. The main property is a large house 20 km outside Stockholm. The family also own an island property as well as an apartment in a ski resort in northern Sweden.
The Head Housekeeper will have to ensure the upkeep of the main property, as well as travel with the family to the other two properties when needed.
The family also have a large house in Mallorca, but they currently have a house manager and staff there.
This is a live-out position but the client can offer a separate apartment close to their main property.
This is a permanent full-time position starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Overseeing/coordinating cleaners, gardeners, and pool service
Laundry management and wardrobe organisation
Household shopping
Light cleaning
Maintenance and regular upkeep of the house
Occasional meal preparation
Looking after the family cars
Running errands
Requirements
Experience in a similar position with excellent references
Yachting background will be an asset
Experience living and working in Scandinavian countries will be a plus
Driving license and good driving skills (a car for work purposes will be provided)
Eligible to work in Sweden
Fluent English
Non-smoker
Work conditions
The specific schedule will be discussed, but candidates should expect around 40 hours a week with flexibility as needed.
