Job description
We are looking for a versatile couple of caretakers for our client's second home in Seine-et-Marne.
The position is a full-time permanent contract to be filled in January 2024. It includes on-site accommodation in a furnished independent house with a garden. Pets are allowed.
Responsibilities
General maintenance of the house and outbuildings.
Housekeeping and tidying up.
Laundry and ironing.
Property caretaking.
Minor gardening tasks (vegetable garden, collecting leaves, etc.).
Boiler and technical room maintenance.
Preparation of cooked meals upon request when the owner and family are present.
Informal table service.
Driving responsibilities.
Purchasing supplies.
Inspecting sanitary, electrical, and technical installations.
Carrying out minor DIY and maintenance work on interior and exterior equipment.
Welcoming and overseeing work done by external service providers.
Providing regular reports to the owner's assistant, who is present on-site twice a month.
Requirements
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position or experience in hospitality/restaurant industry.
Trustworthy, independent, and loyal individuals.
Sense of responsibility and service-oriented.
Adaptability and flexibility.
Assured confidentiality with the employer.
Demonstrate common sense and proactivity.
Valid driver's license required.
French speaking

Position availability: January 2024
Location: Seine et Marne, France
Employment contract: Full-time permanent contract
Working hours: 35 hours per week, weekdays off (usually Tuesday and Wednesday). Weekends off when the owner is away.
Accommodation: Independent furnished house with a garden, including an entrance, living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and dressing room.
Salary
Monthly net salary offered: €5000 for the couple + 13th-month payment + company vehicle.
