Tasks and responsibilities for the Pet sitting You will be responsible for caring for and attending to the needs of 1 large dog and 3 cats. This role involves ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of animals under your care. You should possess a genuine love for animals and be committed to providing excellent care while maintaining a professional and reliable demeanour. Responsibilities: Feed, water, and provide prescribed medications to pets following the owner's instructions. Walk dogs or engage in playtime and exercise to keep pets physically active and mentally stimulated. Clean litter boxes and other pet areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. Provide grooming services such as brushing and bathing if needed. Observe the behaviour and health of pets, looking out for any signs of illness or distress. Report any unusual or concerning behaviour to the pet owner or designated contact. Ensure pets are kept in a secure environment, preventing escapes or accidents. Use leashes and other safety equipment during walks and outings. Keep doors and gates closed and locked to prevent unauthorized access. Maintain open and clear communication with pet owners regarding their pet's well-being and any relevant updates. Follow specific care instructions provided by the owners, including dietary preferences, medication schedules, and other special needs. Manage a schedule of pet care appointments and ensure timely visits for each pet. Be flexible and willing to accommodate last-minute requests or changes in the schedule. Clean and disinfect surfaces in living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and other designated spaces Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks, such as cleaning windows, blinds, and baseboards. Keep track of cleaning supplies and household items, ensuring an adequate stock of necessary supplies. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and bathrooms.
