Job description
An experienced Private Chauffeur is required for a family in Mayfair, London, UK.
We are looking for a reliable and responsible chauffeur to join a family and help with the transportation needs of their children and themselves.
As a chauffeur, you will be responsible for driving the children to and from school, as well as to various activities and appointments. You will also be responsible for driving the family to events, appointments and evenings out as and when required.
The ideal candidate has to be well-mannered, punctual, polite and excellent with young children.
This is a full-time permanent position starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Safe transportation of all family members - including a newborn (with Nanny) plus twins aged 5 years.
Drive the children to and from school, activities and appointments safely and on time
Plan routes and schedules to ensure that the children arrive at their destinations on time
Ensure that the vehicle is clean, well-maintained and properly fuelled at all times
Assist with loading and unloading the children's belongings, such as school bags and sports equipment
Provide assistance to the children as needed, such as opening doors or carrying items
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour with the family and children
Keep accurate records of mileage and expenses related to the vehicle
Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed (Down time when family away)
Requirements
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record plus DBS checked
Previous experience as a chauffeur or driver for a family with children
Knowledge of the London area and the ability to plan efficient routes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours and be available on short notice
Impeccable attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Must be legally eligible to work in the UK
Fluent in English, Spanish will be a plus
Comfortable with children
Based close to Mayfair, London
Work conditions
This is a full-time permanent position but the family is in London only around 50% of their time.
Usually, the family comes to London for about 10 days at a time.
Therefore flexibility and availability is required when they are in London. Downtime when they are away.
Salary
Generous salary depending on experience.
