Job description
A family is seeking an experienced and versatile Head Housekeeper who can provide reliable daily assistance. The ideal candidate will be committed to a long-term engagement and ensure impeccable maintenance of the apartment.
The family consists of 5 individuals, including three independent children. The position is located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
This is a part-time permanent position (afternoons) available in September 2023.
Responsibilities
Responsible for thorough housekeeping of the 180m2 apartment, including complete cleaning tasks.
Keep the residence clean and organized.
Perform meticulous and detailed maintenance of all rooms.
Efficiently organize and distribute daily maintenance tasks for the proper upkeep of the apartment.
Take care of daily deep cleaning and dusting with attention and caution, considering the presence of fragile decorations and artwork.
Maintain floors, furniture, and decorative objects, among others.
Meticulous management of household and family laundry, including careful washing, precise ironing, and organized storage in wardrobes.
Prepare dinners for the family, including fresh, varied, and balanced home-cooked meals using fresh ingredients.
Conduct local grocery shopping from neighborhood vendors if necessary.
Maintain knowledge of and manage stocks of cleaning products.
Welcome external service providers, receive mail and packages.
Requirements
Male or female candidate with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a private family.
Warm, personable, and passionate about their profession.
Detail-oriented, meticulous, and efficient, with a strong desire to excel.
Completely trustworthy, discreet, and possessing excellent manners and etiquette.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously.
Dynamic, proactive, independent, and capable of organizing their work.
Good knowledge of cooking to prepare family meals, including occasionally more elaborate, diverse, and balanced dishes.

Job Title: Head Housekeeper
Position available: September 2023.
Workplace: Paris 17th arrondissement.
Employment contract: Permanent contract (CDI) - 25 hours.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 5 hours per afternoon, to be scheduled between 1 pm and 7 pm depending on the candidates.
Salary
Hourly net salary between €14 and €15, resulting in a monthly net income of €1500 to €1600 for a 25-hour workweek.
