Job description
We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Housekeeper to fulfil the day-to-day housekeeping responsibilities for our prestigious UHNW client's properties in the upscale neighbourhood of Belgravia, London, UK.
This is a full-time position that requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the property to the highest standards, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and in line with priorities.
Keep Housekeeping storerooms clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Properly utilize and maintain all cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
Responsible for the timely return of all issued equipment to stock at the end of each shift.
Perform cleaning duties as assigned by the Group Executive Housekeeper.
Handle machine and hand washing, drying, and pressing of linens and clothing.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of laundry and house pantry stocks, coordinating with the Group Executive Housekeeper for timely reordering.
Inspect and report on the condition of linens, towels, cloths, service-wear, chinaware, and flatware, providing advance notice for any necessary replacements.
Efficiently manage the laundry function, offering assistance during busy periods.
Demonstrate exceptional care when handling fabrics, colours, wash cycles, and ironing temperatures, ensuring personal laundry is washed, ironed, and stored correctly.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in high-profile private households and/or 5-star hotels.
Meticulous, punctual, and discreet in all tasks and interactions.
Possesses tact, professionalism, politeness, and a polished demeanour.
Maintains strict confidentiality and demonstrates complete trust, integrity, and high personal standards.
Work conditions
Full-time position - 40 hours per week.
Five-day week with rotational shifts if the house is occupied.
25 days of paid holiday, in addition to bank holidays.
1-hour paid lunch break.
Annual discretionary bonus.
Pension scheme available.
Death in service benefit.
Contract type: Full-time.
Salary
£26100 per annum.
