Job description
We are looking for a Caretaker/Gardener to be responsible for the security of the property and the maintenance of the outdoor spaces for our client's property located in La Croix Valmer (Var), France. The property spans 1.4 hectares.
The position is available in December on a permanent basis (CDI) with provided accommodation.
Responsibilities
Garden maintenance (mowing, pruning, trimming, weeding, hoeing, raking, etc.)
Maintenance of a pine forest
Plant management and replanting according to the seasons
Irrigation management
Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment
Pool maintenance
Tool maintenance
Maintenance of the automatic irrigation system
Carpentry and minor repairs
Daily surveillance of the site
Coordination with external service providers
Occasional chauffeur duties
Maintenance of 2 vehicles
Reporting to the property owner
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar professional setting
Required professional diploma
Trustworthy and honest individual
Flexible, independent, and dynamic person
Good communication skills
Proficiency in DIY tasks
Valid driver's license
Must speak French
