Job description
Our client is seeking a Housekeeper/Cook to oversee their property situated in Gava, Spain. The ideal candidate should be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess culinary skills, and be responsible for maintaining the property while ensuring smooth day-to-day household operations.
As the family frequently travels, the candidate must be highly flexible when they are present on the premises.
However, the workload significantly decreases when the family is away, necessitating flexibility for this role.
This is a full-time permanent position with accommodation provided.
The starting date is scheduled for April 2023.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough housekeeping duties for a spacious 350 m2 villa.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the house.
Prepare the house meticulously before the arrival of the principals.
Occasionally cook healthy Mediterranean cuisine for the family.Set up tables for breakfast, employing informal table service.
Assist the family while they are in residence, including tasks like packing and unpacking luggage, making reservations, and scheduling appointments.
Handle laundry tasks such as washing, ironing, steaming, folding, hanging, and managing the wardrobe. Coordinate with dry-cleaning services when necessary.
Run errands and complete grocery shopping as requested.
Manage food stocks and household supplies.
Ensure the security and surveillance of the property.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, supported by excellent references.
Discreet, flexible, highly reliable, and trustworthy individual.
Proficient in housekeeping, laundry, and experienced with handling delicate materials.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with a strong dedication to service and responsibility.
Meticulous individual who takes pride in their work and prioritizes the satisfaction of their employer.
Good communication skills.
Fluent in both English and Spanish.
Possession of a valid B driving license.
