Job description
The family has 5 children and requires an individual who is child friendly and familiar with all styles of cooking Greek / Turkish / Lebanese / Italian / Arabic.
You sometimes will need to prepare school meals for the children, they have a kitchen Team who will handle the rest of the food preparations.
They must be fluent in English and or French, Arabic in order to lease directly with family members.
The successful candidate will be a creative individual who is able to produce very tasty meals and can also think outside the box and add a touch of uniqueness.
The chef will have great attention to detail and plan good balanced menus, with great flavouring.
Responsibilities
Menu planning
Chef / Cook is responsible for creating weekly menus ahead and share with principals
Ordering ingredients
Preparing and cooking meals for their principals
Clearing away and cleaning the kitchen
Plating the food
Cleaning up the kitchen space after cooking each meal and ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitised at the end of the shift
Maintaining an inventory of the kitchen supplies and restocking the kitchen cupboards and fridge/freezer as necessary
Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
Ensuring to remove all produce past their sell-by dates
Requirements
Working knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols
Three years or more experience as a Chef / Cook in the restaurants or 5-star hotel industry and/or UHNW private residence
Good communication skills
Work conditions
6 days per week with flexible shift
Visa provided
