Job description
A private Cook is required for a single gentleman based in Bayswater, London, UK. The position could be part time (preferably) or full time.
The client would prefer an experienced cook who has a cooking qualification from a top cooking school such as Leiths or Cordon Bleu. Food preferred: healthy food, no pork, Asian and European cuisine. This is a permanent long-term position with an immediate start.
Responsibilities
Cook lunch and dinner for the Principal
Prepare food for weekends
Menu planning
Grocery shopping
Tidy up and clean the kitchen and all appliances after use
Keep the fridge clean and organised
Follow hygiene rules
Requirements
Experience working as a cook/chef for in private households
Excellent references
Ability to cook a variety of dishes from different cuisines
Discreet
Adaptable
Work conditions
Schedule:
1. 1st choice: Part time 20 hours a week. To work on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4.30pm to 8.30pm; and on Saturday from 1pm to 5pm to do the cooking for the weekend.
2. 2nd choice: Full time to work on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12pm to 8pm and on Saturday from 1pm to 5pm or 5pm to 8pm.
Salary
