Job description
Our clients are looking for an experienced and reliable live-in Domestic Couple/Housekeeping Couple for their beautiful home located near Geneva Lake in Nyon District in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for responsible and committed individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
The house is around 1200 square meters, and it is a primary residence for two principals with two small dogs. This is a full-time permanent position starting ASAP.
Responsibilities
Cleaning the house to a high standard
Knowledge and proper use of cleaning products and tools
Planning of the cleaning activities to ensure that all rooms are cleaned at least once a week
Take care of delicate surfaces and materials, such as carpets, marble, wood, silver, etc
Laundry and ironing
Tidy up and organise wardrobes
Bed changing
Window cleaning
Cook homestyle meals for the principals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Table setting and informal table service
Shopping for groceries and household items
Some handyman duties, light repairs
Pool maintenance
Walk the dogs in the garden
Cleaning up after the dogs in the morning
Ensure the cars are clean
Run errands
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
Serious, professional, and committed individuals who are looking for long-term employment
Easy-going, polite, and respectful with a sense of service
Dog friendly
Flexible
Excellent references from former employers
Clean criminal check
Valid driving licence
Eligible to work in Switzerland (EU passport or Swiss work permit)
Work conditions
Schedule: 45 hours over 5.5 days per week
Accommodation: A separate studio apartment 3 mins away from the main house (with a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom).
Salary
Up to 10,000 CHF net per month (to be discussed depending on the profile)
