Job description
Live-in seasoned Domestic Couple is required for a large property in St Tropez, Var, France. The estate has 28.000M2 of land (including a house for the domestic couple), gardens and a swimming pool.
This is a second home to a family of 4 who stay in the residence 5-6 times per year (mainly on holidays throughout the year and during the summer). The domestic couple will provide high end service to the principals (who may also receive guests), and take responsibillity for the general maintenance of the property
This opportunity will be suitable for active, flexible and service-minded people who are looking for a long-term commitment.
Start date: April 2023
Responsibilities
5 star service in delivering the household maintenance
General housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, etc)
Washing and ironing or steaming of clothes and linen, folding and hanging, wardrobe management, liaising with dry cleaning if necessary)
Caring for delicate materials and sophisticated objects
Preparing breakfast for the family and/or guests
Setting up lunch and dinner table, informal table service
Cooking 2 to 3 times a week for the family and guests when they are in residence (family style nutritious meals)
Ensuring there is sufficient security and protection on the Estate at all times day and night
Light gardening (permanent gardener employed): mow lawn, blow leaves and pine needles, trim hays, and keep exterior spaces tidy at all times
Assisting and providing assistance to the family or Estate guests (packing, unpacking, book reservations, make appointments...)
Maintaining accurate records of suppliers, expenses, visitors etc
Liaising with the office and contractors
Maintenance of grounds, garden, lawns, borders, hedges, woodlands, lakes (assisting the gardeners)
Management of food stocks and household products
Maintenance of vehicles
Requirements
Experience in a similar position (ideally 3 to 5 years as a domestic couple) with excellent checkable references
Ability to provide a very high standard service
Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills, and large experience with noble materials, valuables and delicate fabrics
Detail oriented and very precise people who will take pride in their work and their employeur satisfaction
Independent workers able to work without much supervision
Excellente organisation skills, autonomy and a strong sense of service
Computer skills (able to scan documents and use the computer, Microsoft Office 365 and email messaging knowledge)
Ability to handle a defined budget and regular reporting to the owner
Fluency in French mandatory, and gool level of english
Full and clean french driving license ( for both)
Work conditions

Salary 5000€ nets monthly for the domestic couple
