Job description
A lovely British family with four children are seeking a proactive and child friendly live-out Housekeeper/Cook to assist the main housekeeper Friday afternoon and the busy mother on week-ends with the general housekeeping of their 500 m2 apartment and their big terrace, laundry, grocery shopping and family cooking.
This is very much a family home with four active young children in residence and it is essential that the candidate is comfortable around children, friendly, positive and happy to help the parents with the smooth running of the household during the weekends.
There is a nice relaxed atmosphere in the house and the family is very down to earth, but they have high standards when it comes to housekeeping and they do like the property to be kept in good order.
The successful candidate be a top-notch hands-on housekeeper/cook with good energy levels and able to use their own initiative. He/she must be willing to work on week-ends.
Cooking family style, healthy and balanced suppers for the family will also be required as well as grocery shopping in the nearby supermarket.
You will be liaising directly with the Principals and the language spoken in the house is English. French is a plus but not mandatory.
As this is a live-out position, candidates will have to live in or nearby Monaco. Own transportation would be appreciated.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
General housekeeping, tidying, cleaning and dusting
Assist the main housekeeper Friday afternoon
Assist the mother
Ensuring the smooth running of the household
Ensure that the apartment is always maintained up to a high level
Grocery shopping and running errands (supermarket in walking distance)
Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
Cooking for the family and kitchen cleaning
Requirements
Flexible and local candidate
Previous experience in a similar position in private homes
English native or fluent, French a plus
Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills
Ability to cook simple, fresh, healthy and balanced meals
Good communication skills
Child friendly and happy to look after the children when necessary
Positive, autonomous and friendly personality
Trustworthy, reliable and highly discreet candidate
Skilled multitasker
Highly organised and proactive candidate with strong work ethics
Driving license, own vehicle a plus but not mandatory
Work conditions

Employment start : As soon as possible
Location : Monaco - Fontvieille
Employment contract : Part time position, 20h/week from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening
