Our busy HNW client, a family of three residing in Frankfurt, Germany is looking to recruit a Head Housekeeper / House Manager to ensure the constant top cleanliness of their upmarket 2000 m2 property in Frankfurt, Germany.
The head housekeeper / house manager will be assisted by a housekeeper who she will have to manage, train and supervise.
The family travels on many occasions. The candidates must have experience in private residences of a high calibre and be versed in high standards. They have to be self-starters and able to take initiatives while being highly discreet and flexible.
They require the Head Housekeeper to manage all laundry, ironing, housekeeping, errands and occasional assistance to the private chef to the highest standards completely hands on.
Accommodation is provided in a large and independent, fully furnished and equipped appartement on the property.
Responsibilities

Maintain cleaning check list & record
Ensure that the property is always pristine and ready for the arrival of the family or their guests
Detailed cleaning including carpets and windows, surfaces & antiques
Follow the cleaning routine
Laundry and ironing including linens, VIP wardrobe and delicate items
Management of the housekeeper
Household inventory management
Stock management
Running basic errands
Organise and supervise external service providers and suppliers
Personal shopping on employer’s request
Maintaining cleaning equipment at all times
Fleet management (service car and owner’s cars)
Occasional pick-up/drop-off at the airport
Special care of furnishings, delicate surfaces, high-end household appliances
Hand-washing and special care of fine linens and delicate clothing
Wardrobe management
Decoration and flower arrangement
Team work
Assisting in the preparation for functions / receptions & special occasions
Setting up the table and occasional assistance to the private chef
Informal service on special occasions (diners, events, receptions)
Prepare and keep the rooms as per specified standards
Report to the principals
Requirements
Profile requirement
M/F
At least 5 years of experience as a Head housekeeper / House Manager in a private household
Experience in the management of upscale properties
Highly discreet, trustworthy and reliable
Flexibility and disposability required
Autonomous self-starter and team leader with the ability to take initiatives
Sense of duty and of service
Responsible and polyvalence
Managerial qualities
Experience with precious and delicate materials and fabrics (marble, exotic woods, carpets, artwork etc)
Experience with delicate fabrics like cachemire and silk
Fluent command of English in verbal and written communication
French and/or German a plus
Honest and trustworthy with a pro-active mind set
Detail oriented with the ability to respect a schedule and organise the work load
High level of experience cleanliness and laundry
Flexible and able to accommodate principle e/o guests schedule including public holidays and weekends throughout the year.
Proven ability to work unsupervised for long periods
Written references confirming abilities in similar roles
Eagerness to be employed on a long-term basis and commit to the appointment.
Driving licence (service car provided)
