Full Time House Manager Job Offer and Vacancy in NYC, US
Our client who has a beautiful 8000ft apartment in Lower Manhattan, New York City, and an 8000ft house in Connecticut is looking for a House Manager with experience in managing several properties.
This is a full-time and permanent position but the client normally stays in the US for only two weeks per month (he stays in NYC on weekdays and goes to Connecticut on weekends). The client and his family live abroad for the rest of the month.
The client and his family also stay in the US for the entire month of June and July, and some of August.
The House Manager will have to make sure that the apartment and the house are ready for the client to come and always look immaculate.
The client also employs a full-time housekeeper who looks after both homes.
Start: As soon as possible. It is a live-out position so the right candidate has to be based within a reasonable commutable distance.
Responsibilities
Vacancy duties and responsibilities
Opening and closing of the apartment and the house
Prepare the properties for the client's arrival
Ensure that all devices and appliances operate properly
Maintenance of all systems, address any issues
Inventory management
Packing and unpacking for the principal
Supervising and coordinating the housekeeper
Hire companies for deep cleaning, etc
Maintenance of two household vehicles
Some driving if needed
Report to the client's office, interact with his wife and his PA
Requirements
Profile requirement
Experience in a similar position
Excellent references from former employers
Valid clean driving license
Fluent English
Excellent communication skills
Flexible and available
Able to work in semi-formal environment
Work conditions
Job Condition
Schedule: Full time, the schedule will be flexible when the client and/or his family are in the US. The house manager will manage his/her own time when the client and family are away.
Salary
