An experienced Private Indian Chef Cook with strong skills in multicultural cuisine (including Indian, Chinese, Thai, English, etc) is required for a private family of 4 based in Knightsbridge, London, the UK.
The right candidate has to be hands-on, adaptable and a good team player.
This is a permanent, full time live-out position. Start: As soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Menu planning
Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2 adults and 2 children
Cooking lunch for staff (between 4-8 people)
Sourcing some ingredients (part of the shopping is done by a house manager)
Keeping all pantries and fridge immaculately clean and organised
Clean the kitchen and all appliances after use
Requirements
Experience as a private chef with excellent references
Strong skills in Indian and Asian cuisines
Flexible and adaptable
Non-smoker
Work conditions
50 hours over 5-6 days per week (sometimes from 7:30am to 5pm, and sometimes from 9am to 6:30pm)
