Job description
Couple living in Monaco, is looking for a Maternity Nurse specialized in early childhood/baby nursing in order to taking care of a newborn (from September-October).
The Maternity Nurse/ Nanny must be able to speak perfect English, as she will be asked to speak to the newborn in English.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Participating in her/his development (through fun games, motor games, through songs, dance, stories and rhythms)
- Making simple meals, varied and balanced: dietary diversification
- Providing parents with information about the child's progress - through a daily diary for example
- Speaking only English to the child
- Babysitting if needed
- Organizing the baby's social life (playground, indoor play area, play dates...)
- Stimulating the mind and imagination of the baby's through drawing for example
- Storing the bedroom, playroom, toys Newborn
- Communicating with parents on all aspects of the care of the baby
- Offering the family activities that can stimulate and empower the baby (ex, pool games, painting classes for children)
- Taking care of the baby when he/she is sick and providing medications with parents permission
- Traveling and preparing all the equipment for the holidays, weekends, etc.
- Participating in activities with the baby during the holidays (ex: pool)
- Practicing the hygiene and safety of the newborn (sterilizing bottles, safety of the baby)
- Bathing and dressing the baby up
- Participating in her/his development (ex walker, games...)
- Taking the baby to the pediatrician if the family so wishes
- Continuously monitoring the baby
Skills
- Experienced (5 years at least) in the same field
- Bilingual French – English or just perfect English speaking
- Diploma in childcare, certificates in childhood, first aid, …
Qualities
- Flexible

- teacher, patient, and a good listener
Experiences
5 years minimum as Nanny and/or maternity nurse
Hours
8am to 8pm

Approximately 3 500 euros net/month
