Job description
Our client is recruiting a Domestic Couple to take permanently care of her large villa and the guest house located in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, South of France.
The property is a secondary residence and extra-staff from other villas will join the couple during the clients stays, especially during the summer months.
Start: As soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- General maintenance of the interior of the main villa as a team
- Deep cleaning when the Principal is not in residence
- Laundry and ironing, experience in handling delicate fabrics required
- Organising the cleaning of the villa according to Management Protocol
- Cooperation with Senior servants who join when the client is in residence
- Cleaning of the exterior terraces
- Cleaning and service of the pools
- Handyman duties and small works
- Car management (relevant checks and services) and interior and exterior car cleaning.
- Service and butler duties according to the Principal's requests
- Simple Mediterranean cooking when the private chef is absent.
- Keeping the residence clean and tidy at all times.
- Housekeeping and laundry when the family is in residence.
- Preparing breakfast. Cooking not required but a plus.
- Assist the family while they are in residence (pack, unpack luggage, reservations, appointments etc).
- Shopping errands and groceries. Scooter provided.
- Good knowledge of cleaning products and their use.
- Management of food stocks and household products.
- Expense tracking.
- Ensure the surveillance and maintenance of the property (garden, cameras/alarms, home automation, pool etc.).
- Report technical problems or malfunctions related to the property to the principals.
- Maintenance of the terrace and outside furniture and equipment (sunbeds, parasols, towels etc.).
- Coordination with local providers and suppliers and supervision.
Requirements
- M/F
- At least 3 years experience in similar position.
- Discreet, flexible and trustworthy people.
- Good housekeeping and laundry skills.
- Good handyman and technical skills.
- Good communication skills.
English speaking (native or fluent), French a plus.
- Autonomy required with a sense of service.
- Driving license B.
- Familiar with animals (the family has two dogs that travel with them).
- Motivated, dynamic and friendly people.
- Hard-working and hands-on.
Work conditions
- Schedule: Working hours: 5 to 6 days a week depending of the presence of the family. - Flexibility requested. Stay at the property when the family is in residence.
Good Accommodation
- Employment contract: Permanent French contract (CDI)
Salary
5000 euros net per month for the couple + free accommodation
